Basic info

The VESKO-B boiler for combusting wood bio-mass
The construction of the boiler is designed for the combustion of fuel types with acceptable prices, especially those with a high moisture content (up to 60%) and unstable fractions (haphazard pieces of fuel with lengths up to 50cm). Suitable kinds of fuel are chips, sawdust, shavings, bark, wood off-cuts or peat. The transport of the fuel is secured by a reliable system of hydraulic moveable floors (the fuel may contain non-combustible adulterants - stones, sand, slag or pieces of iron).
The unique VESKO-B boiler is the holder of the "SLOVAK GOLD" protected mark of quality and in 2010 it was awarded the silver medal of the Czech Construction Academy for "Technology of the Year".
Designed for:  communal CSH heating, industrial concerns or buildings with civil facilities.
Boiler output: 1 to 10 MW; warm-water or hot-water versions

The VESKO-S boiler for combusting straw
The construction of the boiler is designed for the combustion of straw in the form of rectangular bales. Alternative types of fuel may be rapeseed straw, hay, flax, sorrel or other culm crops. The fuel (bales of straw) is taken to the space under the stacker (crane) by a high-sided vehicle. Then the stacker carries the bales to the hand-over area, where it is transferred to the sloping chamber of the cutting mechanism. Here the bales are separated by means of a cutter. The piston then forces individual parts of the bale through the cooling tunnel to the boiler grate.
Designed for:  communal CSH heating, industrial concerns or buildings with civil facilities.
Boiler output: 2 to 5 MW; warm-water or hot-water versions

Co-generation from bio-mass - the ORC system
The equipment, by means of a co-generation process, produces electrical energy and heat from bio-mass (wood chips). Thus the resulting heat is fed into a closed circuit in which it is vaporised in a silicon oil powered block turbo-generator. Then the steam condenses, the released heat energy is, in the form of warm water, carried back to the heating network. In the water exchanger (economiser) of the bio-mass boiler, the water circuit is further heated to the required temperature.
Output of ORC units on offer: 600 kW; 1000 kW

Thermo-oil boiler
The boiler is mainly designed as a source of heat for the ORC primary circuit. In the boiler bio-mass (wood chips) is combusted. Hot gases are transferred in the heat exchanger to the oil circulation (thermo-oil). The remaining heat is further reduced in the water exchanger (economiser), waste gases are cleaned in the filter leading out to the surrounding environment by a chimney. The thermo-oil circuit creates a source of energy for the production of electrical current in the ORC equipment. The construction of the boiler arises from the well-tested type of boiler, the VESKO-B, and thus allows the combustion of reasonably priced types of fuel, especially those with a high rate of moisture content (up to 60%) and unstable fractions (haphazard pieces of fuel with lengths up to 50cm). Suitable types of fuel are green chips, brown chips, sawdust, shavings, bark or wood off-cuts.
Heat output of thermo-oil boilers:  1 to 10 MW
The boiler can likewise be used for industrial concerns with specialized technological manufacturing where it is necessary to heat oils.

Waste gas condenser
This is technology for increasing efficiency and reducing dust emissions in the waste gases of boilers combusting damp wood matter. Under optimum operating parameters the installation of a condensing exchanger can raise the effectiveness of the boiler combusting wood matter by up to 25%!
The TTS company has been awarded exclusive commercial representation for the Swedish manufacturer SRE (part of the OPCON group) in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The first installation of a condensing exchanger in the Czech Republic can be seen at the multi-fuel Western Heating Plant in Třebíč, where it is connected to a VESKO-B 3 MW boiler combusting wood bio-mass.

Since 2001, when the very first boiler for bio-mass was manufactured, TTS has been able to boast of 42 installations of energy equipment in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Thanks to this, today we rank among the leading European manufacturers of boilers for bio-mass.
